Apple has introduced the latest iteration of its iPhone operating system, iOS 17. iOS 17 – Quick Preview
The first day of WWDC was filled with exciting announcements. A few of the most exciting were the introduction of Apple Vision Pro, the unveiling of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and the reveal of new Macs. Before moving to wallpapers, here’s a quick look at the new iOS. Apple renovated the operating system.
iOS 17 includes a visual overhaul of three main apps – Phone, Messages, and FaceTime. The phone app gets a Contact Screen which allows users to customize the call screen just like the lock screen with the ability to change font style, color, weight, and more. Another feature coming with iOS 17 is Live voicemail where you can see a live transcript of messages without picking up calls during meetings or when busy.
Apple has updated the conversation screen on Messages. All apps can now be accessed by tapping the new plus button. The app also has search filters, swipe to-reply, live stickers, and more. On FaceTime, you can record a video or audio message when someone misses your FaceTime call. You can also use your iPhone as a camera and start a call through FaceTime on Apple TV.
StandBy, you can charge or put your iPhone on a mount stand in Night mode to get a new full-screen experience on the lock screen. iOS 17 also brings interactive widgets.
