See how to customize an image or photo and use it as the Galaxy Watch 5’s screen display. If you’re tired of using the watch faces on the watch or those available in the App, you can apply any image from the phone’s gallery.
Below, we will first explain how to change the watch face, then we will show you how to import a photo from your cell phone and then use it as a watch face on your watch:
How to change Galaxy Watch 5 screen display?
- Long press the watch face and tap “Add watch face”.
- Rotate the bezel or swipe left or right on the screen and select a watch face. If you want to download more watch faces, tap “More Watch Faces” to be directed to the Play Store store.
- Tap “Personalize” to customize the watch face.
- Swipe left or right on the screen to move to an item you want to customize.
- Use the crown or swipe up or down to select your desired color and other details.
- To set the image parameters, tap on each desired area.
- Tap “Ok” to finish
You can also change the watch face and customize it with your smartphone. Launch the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone and tap Watch faces.
How to customize a photo and use it as a screen display?
- Long press the watch face and tap “Add watch face”.
- Tap “My Photo+”.
- Tap “Custom”.
- Tap the screen and tap “Add photo”.
- Select an image to use as your watch face and tap “OK”.
- Tap “OK” again to confirm.
Tip: To zoom in or out on an image, double-tap the image, or spread or pinch two fingers apart on the image. When the image is enlarged, slide the screen to make part of the image appear on the screen.
