How To Take Screenshots on Redmi Note 9S MIUI 11 and MIUI 12
To do this I will explain how to use a valid procedure to capture the screen on all Xiaomi smartphones with MIUI 11 and MIUI 12.
In the daily use of the smartphone, we perform many operations in a simple and routine way. These certainly include screenshots. We often take a screenshot and save it.
Thanks to a screenshot it is possible to capture a screen and then save a post from social media, a memo, or a memory.
Changing smartphones can put us in difficulty with screenshots, for this reason, if you have just switched to a Xiaomi smartphone with MIUI 11 and MIUI 12, perhaps with Redmi Note 9S, then this guide is for you.
1st method: screenshot with the key combination
The first method that I will explain is the easiest and fastest. To take a screenshot, you can simultaneously press the power button and the volume down button.
If you have performed the key combination correctly you will see a preview of the captured image appear in the upper right part of your smartphone.
2nd Method: use toggle
The second method comes in very handy if you have one hand available or have your smartphone resting on the table or desk. If you open the toggle menu, swiping from the top to the bottom, you can quickly access the screenshot function.
In the toggle menu, you will see a small icon with a scissor. Pressing this button you capture the image on the screen quickly and quickly.
3rd Method: triple swipe down
Xiaomi also provides you with a rather particular third method. If you swipe from top to bottom, as you usually do to open the toggle menu, but using 3 fingers at the same time you will be able to capture the screen on Redmi Note 9S in a moment.
A strange method but that could come in handy when you have a busy hand and smartphones resting on a flat surface.
On MIUI 11 and MIUI 12 you can also decide to set a custom method for taking screenshots. Follow the path Settings, Additional settings, Key shortcuts, Take a screenshot.
From this menu, you can choose a combination of keys customized among those available to be used to take a screenshot. You can also decide to disable this feature.
If you need to make an extended screenshot, also called a scrolling screenshot, you can follow this procedure to capture a long web page or a conversation on WhatsApp or on Facebook. Run the classic screenshot, with one of the methods I explained above, when the icon appears at the top right you can select the preview and access the appropriate function that allows you to scroll the screen and capture in full an entire page, a conversation, or an open window.
At the end of the procedure, the extended image will be saved as a normal image file with which you will be able to work as easily as in all the other cases.
