change the refresh rate on Android

The refresh rate of our Android phone is something important for a better experience with our smartphone, especially if you have a gaming smartphone. A higher refresh rate will result in a better gaming experience, but it will also increase battery usage. We can reduce our Android phone’s battery usage by changing this refresh rate to a lower rate (fewer updates per second). This is something we can achieve with just a few steps.

Having a high refresh rate will make our mobile phone screens smoother. It’s important to understand that the higher the refresh rate, the more battery your phone will consume. Choosing a lower refresh rate can reduce your phone’s battery consumption. There are a few ways to set a lower refresh rate on your Android smartphone. These include going to Settings, Display, and changing it from 90Hz or 60Hz to 50Hz or 30Hz.

Depending on your phone’s layer of personalization, you may have more or fewer choices. Some Android devices provide three distinct refresh rates to select from, while others only give two alternatives.

We always choose the smallest of all alternatives when trying to reduce the energy consumption of our smartphones. If we go somewhere and are playing a game with a demanding response time, we can increase the phone’s refresh rate again using the same methods.
