The standard Google Assistant application is getting a little makeover on Google Pixel 4 smartphones. According to 9to5google, Google is currently distributing a new version of Google Assistant for beta testing to users.
Google Assistant has a new compact interface and useful new features
The Google Assistant features basically remain the same. The main difference from the current version is a more compact design. The Google Assistant panel with the answer to the question can no longer be expanded to full screen. For example, a window with a music player will occupy half the screen and the weather application will occupy three quarters.
In turn, any more basic answer will occupy only the bottom of the screen. In addition, they can return to a previously opened application by clicking on the space outside of Google Assistant.
Google Assistant is distributed as part of the Google App version 11.15.12 update.
Google has offered some users the opportunity to participate in the beta test, and the full version of the updated wizard is expected to appear soon for everyone. So far, the update has been confirmed only for Google Pixel 4 smartphones.
Intelligent voice assistants can perform various tasks for and Google has been at the forefront in this field for many years.
The Google assistant when it detects that a task is requested regularly will now suggest that it be saved as a routine, to save users time and work.
At the moment, it is a test with only a few users. This shows how the assistant can become even more useful in the future.
