Fix Xiaomi Mi Box Chromecast not working Issue
After receiving the update to Android TV 9, many Xiaomi Mi Box S started experiencing problems. One of the most frequently mentioned has been the Chromecast function stopped working on multiple devices and therefore prevents users send content from your mobile to the Mi Box S.

Check that the connection between your mobile and the Xiaomi Mi Box is well configured
Before you get alarmed and think that one of your devices is damaged, start with the basics: check if your mobile and the Xiaomi Mi Box are connected to the same WiFi network.
Remember that the Chromecast function uses the WiFi signal to transmit the content between the devices. Therefore, if your mobile is connected to a WiFi network and your Mi Box is connected to a different one, Chromecast cannot link them and it will not work.

Erase Chromecast Android Shell data on Xiaomi Mi Box
Quite possibly the problem is in the Chromecast app installed on the Mi Box. To repair it, all you have to do is the following:

- Tap Apps.
- Select See all apps.
- Tap the Show system apps option at the bottom of the list.

Uninstall Chromecast Built-in updates and then update it
You may also need to install the latest Chromecast update on your Mi Box, removing old ones that may be corrupted. To do this, follow these steps:
- From your Xiaomi Mi Box, enter the Google Play Store.
- Go to the My apps section.
- Find the Chromecast Built-in app and select it.
- Click on Uninstall.
- Then click Install.

Factory reset your Xiaomi Mi Box

- Select Device preferences.
