Disable advertising on MIUI 11

Disable advertising on MIUI 11 | SYSTEM

The first thing to do is to remove advertisements from the system and from MIUI 11 in particular. These changes won’t affect the pre-installed Xiaomi apps though.

  1. First, you need to open the SETTINGS app and continue in PASSWORD AND SECURITY

  2. Scroll the menu to the last paragraph and select the AUTHORIZATION AND REVOCATION item

  3. Find the entry msa in the list and proceed to revoke the authorization

  4. Return to the PASSWORD AND SECURITY menu and scroll to the PRIVACY item

  5. Select ADVERTISING SERVICES (AD) at the end of the page

  6. Inside you will find only the item PERSONALIZED ADVERTISEMENTS. Disabilitatele

  7. Open the Google Play Store and download an app of your choice

  8. Once the app is installed, wait to press “Open”, but click on the SETTINGS icon in the upper right

  9. Disable the RECEIVE SUGGESTIONS item

Security app

  1. Open the Xiaomi SECURITY app

  2. Click on the SETTINGS icon at the top right

  3. Scroll to disable the RECEIVE SUGGESTIONS item

File manager app

  1. Open the Xiaomi FILE MANAGER app

  2. Click on the “hamburger” menu symbol at the top left and select the SETTINGS menu

  3. Click on the INFORMATION item

  4. Disable the first entry, TIPS

Mi Browser app

  1. Open the Xiaomi MI BROWSER app

  2. Open the menu at the top right and select the SETTINGS icon

  3. Open the PRIVACY AND SECURITY item

  4. Disable the CUSTOM SERVICES option

App Downloads

  1. Open the Xiaomi DOWNLOADS app

  2. Click on the three dots on the right side and then on SETTINGS

  3. Disable the SHOW SUGGESTIONS item

Themes app

  1. Open the Xiaomi TEMI app

  2. Select the MI ACCOUNT tab

  3. Select SETTINGS and disable the SUGGESTIONS item

Music app

  1. Open the Xiaomi MUSIC app

  2. Open the menu on the left and select the SETTINGS item

  3. Select the ADVANCED SETTINGS item

  4. Disable the RECEIVE TIPS option

Mi Video app

  1. Open the Xiaomi MI VIDEO app

  2. Go to the PROFILE tab and select SETTINGS

  3. Disable the ONLINE TIPS option

Assistant App

  1. If you have activated the APP ASSISTANT from Settings> Home> Activate App Assistant
  2. Scroll left on the Home to enter the App Assistant page and click on the SETTINGS button
  3. In the list of links, deselect RECOMMENDED
