Samsung updated the Galaxy A21 to Android 12 in the US recently. Now, Samsung has upgraded to the Galaxy A11. Galaxy A11 now has Android 12 One UI 4.1.

Samsung announced the Galaxy A11 in mid-2020 with Android 10 OS and received Android 11 in June. This is the second and final OS upgrade for the device. A wider rollout of the firmware should follow in the coming days.

Galaxy A11 gets A115FXXU3CVI3 firmware. As it’s a major OS upgrade, make sure you have enough data to download it. The update extends the security patch to August 2022 and fixes known issues.

One UI 4.1 for Android 12 has new widgets, smooth animations when opening and closing apps, a revamped quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, a new charging animation, and more. We don’t have the changelog yet, but you can expect all of these features on the Galaxy A11.

Sri Lankans can upgrade to Android 12 by going to Settings > Software Updates and tapping Download and Install. It will be available in other regions in a few days.
