In recent years, fewer users of smart phones and other portable gadgets have been paying attention to their performance. That is why manufacturers of solutions for high-end began to use gadgets with displays stunning clarity.

Today, thanks to media portal Ubergizmo, it became known that the company Sharp has demonstrated during the exhibition CEATEK 2012 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a pixel density at 498 ppi.

It is worth noting that at the moment in the best pixel density flagship market does not exceed 360 ppi.

The new display is produced by Sharp technology IGZO, which made it incredibly thin.

At the moment it is not known whether Sharp plans to continue to increase pixel density in their own displays.
