Huawei P40 Lite 5G Receives May 2020 Patch

Huawei P40 Lite 5G

A few weeks ago, Huawei launched the P40 Lite 5G in some markets, which is the Chinese company’s offer for those looking for mid-range 5G.

Now comes the first known update of the P40 Lite 5G. This update features the May 2020 Security Patch and some other improvements.

The P40 Lite 5G receives the May 2020 security patch via OTA and is 562 MB. We suggest that you download the update when it reaches your devices via Wi-Fi.

It is not mandatory, but you should always consider a data backup, it is rare for an update to cause data loss, but both on smartphones and other equipment we must make backups of the most important data from time to time, because they may need to reset your device.

As the P40 Lite 5G has already been released with Android 10 and EMUI 10.1 there are no changes in this regard.

The P40 Lite 5G receives a May 2020 patch called:

CDY-N29A 10.1.1.146 (C432E2R2P1)
