Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ Gets Android 13 and One UI 5 Update
Just over 10 days ago, Samsung announced that its Galaxy Tab S8 was already updating to Android 13. From that moment we did not know that the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + were also in the queue, but we did not imagine that the update would arrive so soon.

What’s new on the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ with Android 13 and One UI 5
Samsung continues its plan to be the manufacturer that offers Android 13 faster and more devices in the entire market. They are achieving it since they have updated a lot of mid-range, high-end, and premium mobiles in recent weeks. They are also doing the same with their tablets and the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ were not going to be left out.
The company is bringing Android 13 and One UI 5 to its 2020 flagship tablets, via the XXU2DVK3 firmware. The OTA is already being distributed in the Netherlands, so it is expected that it will soon reach Spain and the rest of Europe. This firmware supports both WiFi and 5G models, although it does not include the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. The Fan Edition won’t go without an update, but Samsung’s roadmap leaves the update for later.
As with other Samsung updates, the OTA for the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ includes the following improvements:
- All the news and improvements that come with Android 13.
- All the extra features that One UI 5 adds.
- Security patches updated until November 2022.
Among the main changes are a redesign of the user interface, better lock screen customization options, better performance in Samsung DeX, an improved taskbar, and new modes and routines for Bixby. This is just the tip of the iceberg, as there is quite a few additional news, but they are the most important.

As we already mentioned, this update is already available in the Netherlands, so it’s a matter of time before it reaches other countries. All you have to do to update is waiting for the notification to arrive on your tablet. Once it happens, confirm that you want to download it and that’s it.
