The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro in China are the first phones to receive the January security update, but there is another old smartphone – Huawei Nova 3i which is also receiving a new version update with the latest security improvements.
The update for the Huawei Nova 3i features the January 2020 security patch, which provides fixes for 2 critical and 16 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found in the latest build. The new update brings only the security patch and there are no further improvements.
Version:
The January 2019 security patch for Huawei Nova 3i comes with EMUI version 9.1.0.275 and a size of 110MB.
Note: The version and size of the EMUI may vary in different markets.
EMUI 10:
Huawei had previously said that Huawei Nova 3i is not compatible with EMUI 10 / Android 10 as it requires higher hardware specifications for optimal performance.
