Step 1. Download and install Kies.

Step 2. Download and extract Odin.

Step 3. Start your Galaxy device in Download Mode. (Turn off your phone and then press and hold                           the UP + Home + Power volume button at the same time for 3-5 seconds.)

Step 4. When you see the warning screen Volume Up to enter Download Mode.

Step 5. After you press Volume Up, you will get your device into Download Mode on Samsung devices that look like.

Step 6. Please note that you can only flash with a  .tar or .tar.md5 files.

Step 7. ID: COM must be a light that Odin is connected to the phone.

Step 8. Select the AP or PDA (Odin old)  => to where the ROM is ending with * .tar.md5.

Step 9. Wait a while for the software to load the ROM. Odin will load successfully when the Message frame is notified as shown above.

Step 10. Click Start to begin the ROM download process.
