However, this new product appears to be one cheaper variant of the Mi Band 4, with several useful functions. For now, the Mi Smart Band 4C has been launched in the Malaysian market only, but it cannot be excluded that in the coming weeks Xiaomi does not decide to extend its marketing also in other markets: we will keep you informed in case of news in this sense.

Coming to the technical specifications, the new Mi Smart Band 4C is powered by a 130 mAh battery, which fully charged should last nearly two weeks. Using the integrated USB port, the Mi Smart Band 4C can complete charging in about two hours.

It also comes with a 1.08 inch TFT display, with a resolution of 128x220px. In addition to heart rate monitoring, designed to constantly monitor the impulses, Mi Smart Band 4C also includes other functions that have a certain utility, such as the receiving notifications and call alerts. It also allows users to keep their music under control.

It is still a fitness product, which is why the Mi Smart Band 4C is equipped to track five different sports, including brisk walking, treadmills, outdoor running, cycling and regular exercise.

The device also sends an alert if the user remains inactive for a long period of time and is designed to be waterproof up to 5 ATM: the Chinese company’s new product is therefore perfect for a running in the rain or even for swimming (not the same for extreme water sports).

Currently listed on the website of the Malaysian online retailer Shopee.com, the Mi Smart Band 4C has a starting price of 99 ringgit, equal to about 20 euros.
