Xiaomi is most likely one of the most competitive brands in the Chinese market. Our favorite brand never misses an opportunity to confront other manufacturers, especially when they know they have something more.

In this case, as you may have already guessed from the title, it is Huawei with its own Mate 30 Pro 5G which is put in competition with the new upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. The test concerns the transfer speed of a 10.57GB file.

As we can see, Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Pro (on the right) manages to copy the file in just 22 seconds, while the Mate 30 Pro 5G takes 49 seconds, therefore more than double.

The difference in the file transfer/copy speed lies in the internal memory technology used; at least according to Xiaomi. The Chinese brand claims that its UFS 3.0 technology is more advanced than that present on Huawei’s device. Although both smartphones use UFS 3.0.

Now it is not clear to us how Xiaomi managed to optimize the technology and make it faster. Could it be thanks to the better performing CPU or the faster LPDDR5 RAM that we find on the next flagship?

In any case, a really interesting comparison that makes us hope well and assures us that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will be one of the fastest smartphones in the world. Also because having a faster internal memory is important to have smooth user experience with apps that open instantly and much more.

As for the other specifications on board the Mi 10 series. The devices should adopt a 6.4-inch diagonal AMOLED curved screen, Full HD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and hole in the top right. Inside we will instead find the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 coupled with a minimum of 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 memory. While on the back we have four cameras, with the main 108MP, Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, a secondary with an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto and a sensor with 5x optical zoom.

Finally, we will have to find a battery of at least 4500mAh and several latest generation features such as WiFi 6 which includes technologies such as OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access), 8 x 8 MU-MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) and TWT ( Target Wake Time). There will also be the dual-mode NSA and SA 5G, at least in some versions, NFC and much more.
