A clamshell foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Flip, was unveiled by Vivo last month. A new generation of foldable smartphones called Vivo X Fold 2 will launch alongside the phone. In addition to a 3-inch screen, the company’s first clamshell features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 50MP primary camera, and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The Vivo X Flip – A Quick Overview
As of right now, there is no information about the global release of the new foldable duo beyond mainland China. The details of the new Vivo X Flip smartphone can be found before we move to the wallpapers section. There is a 3-inch cover screen, which is an AMOLED panel, as well as a 6.74-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support on the main screen. Based on Android 13 and Origin OS 3, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
Featuring a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 1.0-micron pixel size, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS, and more, the Vivo X Flip features a dual-lens camera setup. In addition, there is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 on the secondary sensor. In terms of selfies, there is a 32MP camera on the smartphone. You can choose from 12GB RAM and 256GB / 512GB storage options with the Vivo X Flip.
In terms of battery capacity, the X Flip is powered by a 4,400mAh cell with 46W fast charging support. In addition to the physical fingerprint scanner, there is a side-mounted sensor for adding security. Currently available in violet, gold, and black colours, the phone starts at CNY 5,999 (approx. $872).
