Samsung Released a Fixed Beta One UI 2.0

Samsung Released a Fixed Beta One UI 2.0The other day, Samsung announced the start of beta testing of the latest version of the shell One UI 2.0, created on the basis of the Android 10 operating system. The test version of the firmware began to spread in several regions, but as it turned out led to an unpleasant problem.

Users who installed the beta version of One UI 2.0 were not able to access their devices. After rebooting the smartphone, he did not accept the password, PIN-code or graphic key, that is, the owners simply could not unlock their smartphones.

Samsung quickly fixed the error – after a few hours, in the regions where the beta version of the firmware was distributed, it was replaced with the new version of One UI 2.0, in which there was no problem with unlocking.

True, to install it, you need to unlock the smartphone, which just can not be done by users who installed the problematic firmware.

For them, the company offers three options: either delete the codes and biometric data used to unlock via the Samsung Find My Mobile service (if the remote unlock function of the smartphone was previously activated), or reset the smartphone to factory settings and roll back the firmware version to Android 9 Pie using Samsung Smart Switch service (the operation will lead to the loss of all data stored on the device) or take the smartphone to a service center.
