Root Asus Zenfone 9 and Unlock Bootloade

Asus recently unveiled its new flagship phone, which is the most compact Android phone we’ve seen in a long time. The Zenfone 9 is a stylish smartphone with powerful hardware. Asus recently released the kernel source code and unlock app, allowing for custom development to begin. You can also root your device. You will learn how to root Zenfone 9 and unlock the bootloader of an Asus Zenfone 9.

Before we get into the root guide, let’s go over the specs and what this phone can do. There aren’t many options for premium phones under 6-inches, and Asus has provided one. Aside from the good design, the phone has flagship specs, but the price is on the higher side.

The Asus Zenfone 9 has a 5.9-inch FHD+ display that supports up to 120Hz. The phone is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and the Adreno 730 GPU. The Zenfone 9 is equipped with 8GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone has two cameras on the back. A 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide camera are among the camera sensors. There is a single 12MP selfie camera on the front. It is powered by a 4300mAh battery.

And while this package performs admirably, you can unlock advanced features with root privilege, which I will demonstrate here. The guide also explains how to unlock the bootloader on the Zenfone 9.

How to Root an Asus ZenFone 9

The Zenfone 9 kernel source code was just made public, so we can expect to see custom development for the Zenfone 9. Now that the unlock app is out there, users can also root their phones. When you root, you get a lot of options and advanced features. But in order to root Zenfone 9, you must first unlock its bootloader.

Unlock Asus Zenfone 9 bootloader

Like all Android phones, the Asus Zenfone 9 has a locked bootloader. This means that users can’t change the phone by rooting it or installing their own operating systems (ROMs). So, if you want to root your phone or install files like custom ROMs, you must first unlock the bootloader. Since there is an Unlock app for Zenfone 9, it will be easy to unlock the bootloader.
