ColorsOS 7 and Android 10 Update

Over the past few months, numerous Realme executives have reported that the company is working on its own ColorOS subsidiary and will finally begin production of phones with Color OS 7.

In an official press release, Realme published a roadmap for its own customized ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. The first beta version will arrive at owners of Realme X2 Pro on December 18, but, oddly enough, the flagship will not be the first to receive a stable release.

Final versions will be released starting in January with Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT.

Realme X and Realme 5 Pro will appear in February, and the X2 Pro will receive the final update only in March. By the third quarter of 2020, seven more phones will appear.

According to the company, the new user interface will have everything that the new ColorOS 7 offers, including smoother game graphics, improved memory management and the convenience of video and video blogging. Also, there will be a system-wide dark mode and the ability to customize things like application icons, shape, size and font.

Realme is currently in the process of recruiting beta testers. Applications must be filled out on the company’s community page. From November 27 to December 3, users will be invited to participate in the Realme X2 Pro beta program. Beta testers from Project X and Realme XT campaigns who have proven the beta experience can also take part. The final selection will be announced on December 9th.
