Realme 5S updates with a new sensor for the main camera on the rear panel – on the 48MP Samsung GM1. This is quite far from the small 12MP Realme 5 sensor. Other cameras are the same – an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera of 119 °, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. In fact, this is the same department of cameras as in Realme 5 Pro.
The phone also gets a new color – Crystal Red – joining the purple and blue versions. In addition, the base memory option has been removed, which means that 5s starts with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory (with the 128 GB option).
Other specifications on Realme 5 have not changed. It supports a 6.5-inch screen (720p +) and a Snapdragon 665 chipset, as well as a 5000 mAh battery.
The first sale of 5s will take place on November 29 at 12 o’clock on Flipkart and Realme.com. It will cost 9,999 rupees ($ 139) for the base version of 4 GB / 64 GB and 10,999 rupees ($ 153) for the 4 GB / 128 GB version. The phone, in the end, will also appear in ordinary stores, but we do not have an exact release date.
For comparison: Realme 5 was released at a price of 11,000 rupees ($ 154) for a 4/64 GB model, but it is currently reduced to 10,000 rupees ($ 140). The cost of Realme 5 Pro, which includes the Snapdragon 712 chipset, is 14,000 rupees ($ 195).
