  • The light will flash blue intermittently. Wait a few seconds and then turn off the headphones.

  • Then go to the cell phone’s Bluetooth setting and remove the failed connection.
  • Go to the device’s Bluetooth settings, click “Forget” or “Disconnect” and disable Bluetooth.
  • Turn the JBL headphones back on and wait for them to enter pairing mode (the light will flash blue).

On Windows:

  • Forget the headset on all the devices it is currently connected to.
  • Right-click on the Bluetooth icon on the taskbar and select “Show Devices”.
  • Select the device and click Remove Device.
  • Then try pairing again and check if it worked.

If the problem still persists, you can also try updating the Bluetooth drivers in Windows.

  • Press Windows key + R.
  • Type “devmgmt. msc” (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • Look for “Network Adapters” and select “Bluetooth Device”.
  • Right-click on “Update Driver”.

However, the default drivers provided by the Microsoft/Windows system are not correct and will result in error messages (such as a PIN code request) or prevent the pairing from working. JBL recommends downloading drivers directly from the computer or notebook manufacturer’s website.
