Instructions to Install Nokia 6 TA-1003 Firmware:

1. Download the QPST tool & driver.

2. Make sure your device is charged to at least 30%.

3. Run the QFIL tool.
4. Now Browse under the Programmer path to Chose Nokia 6 TA-1003 Firmware MBN File.

5. As soon as the MBN file is selected, Select Build will automatically select the Update or Stock ROM.
6. Next Go To  Load XML, select rawprogram_unsparse_without_qcn.xml and Select Patch0.xml
Load XML comes with two option:

  • rawprogram_unsparse_without_qcn.xml: On choosing this file, data will not be lost.
  • rawprogram_unsparse.xml: Will lose RF Calibration data, IMEI and WiFi/Bluetooth Address.

7. Turn off the Phone and Attach it to PC by pressing Vol up & down button.
8. Click on Select Port and choose the port.

9. Click on Download to start flashing.

10. Disconnect device from USB cable once Finish Download appears.

    THESE FILES DO NOT EXIST IN FIRMWARE ARCHIVE!!!!

    Step 6. Next Go To Load XML, select rawprogram_unsparse_without_qcn.xml and Select Patch0.xml

    Load XML comes with two option:

    rawprogram_unsparse_without_qcn.xml : On choosing this file, data will not be lost.
    rawprogram_unsparse.xml : Will lose RF Calibration data, IMEI and WiFi/Bluetooth Address.

      ok then leave these files and simply add mbn firmware file and then press download.. that,s all

    @Gadgetmodder – thanks for fast response… One more thing i`m not sure about… Which MBN file to select!? If i manage to setup my phone..

    I`m having little difficulties for software to recognize the phone… it was stuck on boot loop and could only get into recovery but it won`t recognize any software to update from SD card, so i used another software to flash ta-1000 firmware but i would rather have it on original model firmware.. Can you help me with that?

    It`s not working… No Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 port in device manager, it just says snutdown i upper left corner on phone display and goes like that in loop when holding volume up and down… When i let go buttons, it just starts charging…. Something is missing in instructions… How to set up program!? Flat build!? Meta build!? No mbn file is recognized when going on browse, which is activated only when select Flat build! This obviously is not complete instruction.. MBN files are shown only when choosing All Files to show…

    and wait i am downloading the stock Rom And then reply you that mbn firmware is in extracted firmware file.

    1. Download firmware (all in one folder
    2. You need a cable (Flash Cabel),
    3. Unzip the firmware!
    4. Turn off the phone
    5. Connect the cable to the phone, but do not connect to the computer!
    6. IMPORTANT !!! While holding down the volume and volume keys –
    cut the black and green wire connect to the computer
    7. Hold down the + and – keys to separate the contacts but keep the keys squeezed !!!
    8. run the QFIL program and select the files from the Nokia_6 folder, BUT KEYS + and – HOLD !!!
    9. Press Download and hold the keys for 5 more seconds and release.
    10.The firmware will begin.
    After about 5 minutes you will see a blue line of the process, when the phone is flashed, you will hear the sound of rebooting the phone.
    11. Everything is ready!

    P.S. If you do not hold both the + and – keys at the same time, you will get an error in the firmware process.
