The Nokia 2.2 announced last June with Android Pie is receiving its first major update in the form of Android 10.
The new version with version number V2.300 is currently being distributed in Egypt but is expected to start rolling out to other markets soon.
This update brings Dark Mode, new gesture navigation and improved privacy and location controls for Nokia 2.2.
In addition, the new firmware includes the outdated Android security patch of February 2020.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19, HMD recently announced a change of plan for the implementation of Android 10, according to the new schedule, the company will not launch Android 10 for other Nokia smartphones this month.
