Moto Z3 received an upgrade to Android 9.0 and 5G support

The Moto Z3 smartphone, introduced last summer and out of the box running Android 8.1, Oreo received a firmware upgrade to Android version 9.0 Pie.

For Moto Z3, the update will bring a new redesigned and simplified user interface, a new navigation system using gestures, optimization of battery consumption and adapted screen brightness (Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness functions), as well as an updated, Do Not Disturb mode and new system sounds, notifications icons. In addition, the firmware contains fixes for previously detected errors and a fresh Adnroid security patch for the month of January.

In addition, after installing the update, the
Moto Z3 smartphone will start supporting work with fifth-generation 5G networks using the Moto Mod 5G module, which has not yet gone on sale.

As always, the update is distributed in stages and will become available for all regions within a few weeks.
