LG V40 ThinQ Receives Android 9 Pie Update

LG V40 ThinQ Android 9 Pie Update

LG has reported that for the smartphone LG V40 ThinQ has been updated firmware to Android 9 Pie. The first LG smartphone to receive the update was the LG G7 One, after which the manufacturer promised that in the near future this update will appear for the V40 ThinQ.

At the moment, the update for the number V409NO20c is distributed in South Korea (it contains Android security patches for the month of May) and in the US, where the version carries the V405UA20A_02 number and contains the April Android security patches. In the US, the update is distributed by the operator US Cellular.

As always in such cases, the update is distributed in stages and, according to the manufacturer, will be available in other regions in a few days.
