MIUI Sr ROM On Poco F4

In this guide, we will show you the steps to install the latest MIUI Sr ROM on your Poco F4. The fourth iteration of the Poco lineup has been greeted with a plethora of AOSP ROMs, including Pixel Experience, crDroid, LineageOS, and PixelOS. However, all these ROMs give you a stock OS experience, which is a big difference from Xiaomi’s.

Users who want to stay in the Xiaomi ecosystem have a handful of options to choose from. EU ROM, MIUI Reborn, and Verse are some of the noteworthy ones. Another has been added to this list. We’ve just got the MIUI Sr ROM up on the custom ROM domain, which you can install on your Poco F4. Let’s get started now, without further ado.

Preparation:

The below process will wipe all the data from your device, so make a backup beforehand. In the event of a nuclear war, your alarm doesn’t go off, or anything happens to your device or data, AMS and its members can’t be held responsible.

1: Install Android SDK

The first thing you need to do is install the Android SDK Platform Tools. This is the official ADB and Fastboot binary from Google, and it’s the only one we recommend. On your device, you’ll also have to enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking. You can use the former to make your device recognizable by your PC in ADB mode. You’ll be able to boot your device into Fastboot Mode from there. Alternatively, OEM unlocking is required for bootloader unlocking.

  • Now go to Settings > About Phone > Tap on Build Number 7 times > Go back to Settings > System > Advanced > Developer Options > Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking.

3: Unlock Bootloader on Poco F4

Upon the device’s bootloader having been unlocked, you will then be able to access the device’s settings. It is important to keep in mind that doing so will wipe your device of all its data, and you may lose your device’s warranty if you do so. In case that is fine with you, then please refer to our detailed guide on How to Unlock Bootloader on Any Xiaomi Device if you want to find out more.
