It’s always good to be able to get a good look at the status bar and see what services are currently active, but at some point, the top of your device can get incredibly confused with icons.

Personally, I often have so many notifications in the system tray that they create a lot of icons that “make me wonder” and at some point, system. Fortunately, OnePlus listened to user requests and provided a way to remove the icons you no longer want to see.

To enable and disable these icons, first go to the settings menu and find “Status bar” in the “Personalization” section. Here, you will have access to a number of configuration status bar many different.

Within that, you can access the “Icon Manager”. After tapping that, you’ll have access to a ton of different icons from the system. You can use these to turn the icons on and off, so you can decide exactly what you want to see at any time.

Although these icons do not provide any additional functions other than being visible or not, the configuration is there, and you can enable and disable them when you need or don’t need them.

Personally, I get rid of Bluetooth, because I always keep it active.
