ASUS ZenFone 6 is one of the most successful devices from this manufacturer. The original rotating chamber contributed a lot to this. So it hit the market with Android Pie and later, in November 2019, it received Android 10. Now, ASUS ZenFone 6 has joined the small list of smartphones eligible to receive beta versions of Android 11.

To sign up for the Android 11 beta, you must have the most stable version of Android 10 (build 17.1810.2008.171) installed on your ZenFone 6. This particular version started to be implemented a few days ago, and introduced a new option called “ Enroll in the Beta Test Program ”.
This is within the “System Update” settings. So it is the only way to register for this limited beta testing phase of Android 11. However, don’t worry that we have already provided you with the download link in the meantime.
Below is the link to download the firmware mentioned above for ASUS ZenFone 6. After the download, move the ZIP file to the root of the internal storage and also restart the smartphone to get the notification for the update.

However, the beta bidding period is open until September 4, but ASUS has not yet released anything about the number of available seats. Therefore, participants should then receive news by email on September 9th.
Whoever is testing the beta version, will be entitled to a special authorization to access a private section of the ASUS ZenTalk forums, where they will be able to publish error reports and the experience of use in general.
Now an important note. In the eligibility criteria for testing Android 11 on ZenFone 6, ASUS says that the device must have a locked bootloader.
That is, if for some reason you have unlocked your device, it is not even worth registering to test the new version of Android. It’s just not going to be accepted.
