How To Fix: Sony XM4 Not Showing Up on Bluetooth

Fix Sony XM4 Not Showing Up on Bluetooth?

It is best to try all of the solutions mentioned here in order until you find one that works for you.

Bring the devices closer:

Bluetooth works when the Bluetooth device and the other device are close to each other. If there is something between your XM4 and the device you are trying to connect to, you may have trouble connecting. You need to make sure that the devices are in close proximity to each other and that Bluetooth is turned on for both of them. The closer the devices are, the better the connection will be.

When you have verified that your gun is registered, you can try looking for it on your device again. If your Bluetooth device doesn’t show up in your device list nearby, try the next solution.

Update the firmware:

Sony makes a lot of different devices that get updates over the air (OTA), and the XM4 is no exception. To update the firmware on your headphones, you first need to install the most recent version. After you install the new firmware, you can then search for your headphones on your smartphone.

  • To use the Sony Headphones Connect app, you need to open it on your phone.
  • To see what’s new on your app, tap the “3 dots” icon in the top right corner.
  • To choose your XM4s device and version, go to the Settings menu on your phone and select “System”.
  • If there is a new firmware update available, you can tap on the update option to download and install it.

If the problem you’re having isn’t solved by using this option, you can try another one.

Reset the headphones:

After trying the firmware update, you might need to hard reset your headphones. The software is designed to work in a consistent way, so if there are any problems they should be fixed. For the most part, this is the ideal solution for most people. If you’re not sure what to do, try doing something.

  • Remove the headphones so that other people can hear you better.
  • You need to hold down the power and noise cancellation buttons for 10 seconds to turn them off.
  • The light on your headphones will start to flash.
  • The computer has finished resetting itself.
  • Open the device and look for your Bluetooth headphones.

If your headphones aren’t being detected on your XM4, there are a few solutions. One is to try a different pair of headphones or to check if your headphones are plugged in correctly.

Charge your headphones:

The XM4s need to be charged over time in order to work. If it doesn’t have enough power, you won’t be able to find it in the Bluetooth list of your smartphone or PC.

To charge your headphones, connect the charging cable to the appropriate adapter and plug it into a power source. After charging the device, you might be able to find it on your smartphone or computer again. If you’re still having trouble connecting your Bluetooth device, try one of the other solutions.

Contact support:

If none of the suggestions above worked for you, it might be because your XM4s are having problems with their hardware. If you can’t solve the problem with your headphones, you can take them to a service center to have them checked out.

They can help you figure out what to do to fix the problem. If your headphones are still under warranty, we will fix them for you for free.
