How To Enable HDR On PS4?
HDR mode allows you to add color to your favorite PS4 games, but getting it to work doesn’t always work.
How to enable and configure HDR on Sony PlayStation 4
In order for HDR to work on PS4, you must:
- Install firmware 4.0 or newer
- HDMI Premium Cable (2.0 or 2.1)
- 2K or 4K TV with HDR10 support
- HDR games
On the TV, find and activate the parameter:
- On Samsung – HDMI UHD Color
- On Sony – extended format HDMI
- On Panasonic – HDMI HDR Setting
- On LG – HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color
On Sony PlayStation 4, go to the settings menu> Sound & Screen> Video Output Settings. Set the parameters:
- HDR – automatically
- Conclusion Deep Color – automatically
