OnePlus phones also have an anonymous device identifier which is enabled by default. This is useful for using the company’s internet services, such as the cloud. If you don’t use it, here’s how to disable it:

  • Go up Settings> About phone> Status and scroll to the bottom
  • Touch OnePlus anonymous device identifier and deactivate its toggle.
