Honor ViewPad 6 is ViewPad X6 and has just been made official by Huawei. These are two tablets, available in LTE and Wi-Fi variants, which also have a variety of storage options.

Honor ViewPad 6 works with an Android 10-based Magic UI 3.1 customization and presents a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display (1,200 × 1,920 pixels) with a screen-to-body ratio of 80.6%.

The device is powered by a processor HiSilicon Kirin 710A octa-core, combined with a RAM of up to 4 GB. The memory on the tablet can also be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512 GB).

Honor ViewPad 6 is also characterized by a single one 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The rear camera supports 1080p video recording; however, it is not provided with optical image stabilization. According to what emerged online, the front camera should support HD video calls.

Connectivity options include 4G (LTE variant only), Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging. Honor ViewPad 6 is also equipped with a 5,100 mAh battery, which should be able to guarantee 32 hours of conversation and 600 hours of “idle.” Other features of Honor ViewPad 6 include an e-book mode, a kids mode, and an eye protection mode.

In terms of specs, Honor ViewPad X6 is similar to the ViewPad 6, but with a few minor modifications. This tablet also works with Android 10 and MagicUI 3.1. The display is a 9.7-inch IPS HD (800 × 1,280 pixels) with a 75% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet is also powered by an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710A processor, associated with up to 4 GB of RAM. Again, expansion via a microSD card (up to 512 GB) is possible.

The 5-megapixel rear camera supports full HD video recording while the 2-megapixel front camera offers HD video calling functionality. ViewPad X6 is also equipped with a 5,100 mAh battery: even here, Honor ensures 32 hours of conversation.

Honor ViewPad 6 and ViewPad X6 are currently listed for reservations in China; at the moment; we do not know if the two tablets will also arrive here.

The price of the Wi-Fi Honor ViewPad 6 variant is 1,299 Yuan (163 euros) for the 3GB + 32GB storage option, while the 4GB + 64GB model is available at 1,399 Yuan (175 euros). The price of the LTE variant of the ViewPad 6 is instead of 1,599 Yuan (more or less 200 euros) for the basic model of 4 GB + 64 GB. Its 4 GB + 128 GB storage option costs 1,899 Yuan (approximately 238 euros).

Coming to the Wi-Fi variant of the Honor ViewPad X6, the price starts from 1,099 Yuan (about 138 euros) for the 3GB + 32GB storage option and 1,199 Yuan (at the exchange rate about 150 euros, ed) for the model with 4GB + 64GB. The LTE variant of the Honor tablet has a single storage option from 3 GB + 32 GB at the price of 1,199 Yuan, always around 150 euros.

Honor ViewPad 6 is sold in two color options: Mint Green is Starry Sky Gray. ViewPad X6 is instead available in mint green color.
