Honor 9N Gets EMUI February Security Update

First, it was Honor Play and now the Honor 9N is receiving a new software update that brings security improvements to this device.

According to the information available, Honor 9N users are entitled to a new update from EMUI that brings the latest security improvements. In addition to the security patch, there is no other news in the changelog.

The February 2020 Security Patch improves Google security and fixes 2 critical and 20 high levels of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE fixes).

One of the critical fixes is CVE-2020-0022 also known as BlueFrag, which was also corrected in this update, BlueFrag allows for the silent execution of code on the device that leads to data theft and the spread of malware.

Honor 9N is receiving the February 2020 security update with EMUI version 9.1.0.136 and 203MB in size.

The Honor 9N is not eligible to receive the EMUI 10, if something new about these devices appears, count on us to share.
