Android 12 is the next iteration of Google’s operating system for mobile devices, being one of the highlights in the Google I / O 2021 conference. Thus, we are pleased to report on OPPO’s actions to speed up the arrival of news.

More specifically, the company’s top-of-the-range smartphone, the OPPO Find X3 Pro, will not only be one of the first to receive the stable version as soon as it is available, but it will also be entitled to the beta version of Android 12. There is, however, a snag.

Android 12 (beta) is on its way to OPPO Find X3 Pro

OPPO, like its sub-brand Realme, announced that the beta build of Android 12 is already on its way to its flagship smartphone, the Find X3 Pro. The news was announced shortly after Google announced that the system operative has reached the beta phase.

Unlike Realme, and following the good example of Google, the beta compilation prepared for OPPO Find X3 Pro is currently in distribution, but only for programmers. This is, in effect, the aforementioned snag to condition this distribution.

At the same time that the beta version reaches Google Pixel smartphones, for anyone interested, OPPO also makes efforts in this direction. However, for users – not programmers – this version is not available for now.

Like Google and Realme, OPPO will also bring Android 12 to their smartphones

It should be noted that OPPO advises users not to install this compilation on their daily phones. Being a beta version, it is prone to the occurrence of more errors, instabilities and other bugs. Still, it is a step in the right direction.

Although Google has already distributed the beta version, the software to reach OPPO smartphones is closer to the Developer Preview compilations. As such, unless they are programmers, their installation is not recommended.

It should also be noted that this compilation should not include any ColorOS functions. We are dealing with “stock” or pure software, as it is designed by Google, therefore, without brand customization.

Either way, the software is available in several regions and can be easily downloaded over the Internet. It is a good sign on the part of OPPO, wanting to bring the latest iterations of the software to its equipment.

This is, finally, an example to be followed by more manufacturers, but it would be advisable to provide a beta version, better prepared for the general public.
