How To ROOT LG G2 Android 4.4.2 KitKat

Extract it into a folder on the desktop.

Connect your phone to your PC.

Holding down the SHIFT key on your keyboard, you right-click on the folder where you extracted the zip IOROOT and select from the menu “prompt windows open here.”

Now, type the command “adb devices” and press enter.

Now, type the command “adb reboot recovery  “and press enter.

At this point, your cell will restart entering recovery.

Use the up and down keys to move between the rear of the G2 menu items to highlight the recovery command “apply update from adb”, now press the power button of your g2 to give the ok.

Now, type the command “adb sideload kk_root.zip” in the command prompt windows and press enter.

Wait for the installation process terms. Once it is completed, you will end up in the menu ‘of recovery, and select “reboot”.

Now you have your G2 root access. After a few moments to Play Store, you will be notified of an update for superuser, you will of course update the program to the latest version.

  1. i did exactly what it said and i got “e: failed to verify whole-file signature
    e: signature verification failed
    installation aborted
    Any info for that would be appreciated
    also i am on a sprint ls980zve running android 4.4.2
