Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition

Day April 27, Xiaomi will announce what we can consider the moral successor of the Mi Note 10 presented in November last year, we refer to the next Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition.

As always in these cases, the brand provides us with some details on the incoming smartphone almost daily. Just yesterday he revealed to us some features that we will find in the photographic sector, while today the teasers concern the display and other internal specifications; let’s find out more!

Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition: AMOLED screen, NFC and much more confirmed

Let’s start with the display that Xiaomi confirms is of the AMOLED type. Let’s say confirmation as the Mi 10 Youth would actually be a slightly modified Chinese version of the Mi 10 Lite presented globally a few weeks ago.

The cheapest smartphone of the Mi 10 series, in fact, adopts a 6.57-inch diagonal AMOLED display. In any case, Xiaomi lets us know that the deltaE value of the display is 1.1, while the contrast will be 4.300.000: 1.

The screen will then have support for the HDR10 + standard, DC dimming technology to decrease flicker screen when setting at low brightness, and a touch sampling frequency of 180Hz (although the screen frequency will always be 60Hz and not 90Hz).

Among the other specifications unveiled today, we discover that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth will be equipped with an NFC module to be able to make electronic payments and not only, a 3.5mm audio jack, an infrared emitter and a linear type motor for stronger and faster vibrations. So it will be a truly complete smartphone in many ways.

As for the previously confirmed features, we have a photographic sector with a total of four cameras. These will include a 48MP primary with an f / 1.79 focal aperture, 1/2 ″ size, and Pixel Binning technology.

The second sensor would have 8MP resolution and would be paired with an ultra-wide lens, while the third would serve to take macro photos with 5MP resolution. As for the fourth camera, this is the one that will change compared to the global version.

So instead of the 2MP depth sensor, we should instead find a telephoto lens with a maximum zoom of 50x. Obviously it will be a hybrid zoom, optical + digital, with the first one that should go up to 5x.

From a performance point of view, the Mi 10 Youth Edition will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G accompanied by at least 6GB of LPDDR4X type RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory. The chipset also supports 5G connectivity, which will make it the cheapest 5G device of the Xiaomi brand.

Now we just have to find out how big the internal battery will be as well as the final selling price (in China).
