A few days ago Samsung launched the rollout of the Android security patches of October 2021 for its smartphones and, the last device to receive them, for now, is the Galaxy A50.
Galaxy A50 is therefore the South Korean company’s first mid-range phone to receive the October 2021 patches, as all other Samsung phones that received the October security update are top of the line.
The new firmware is marked with version number A505GUBS9CUI3. We would like to clarify that the update does not bring any improvement to the Galaxy A50, other than the increase in the level of security.
The first countries where Samsung has rolled out the October 2021 security patch update for its Galaxy A50 are Bolivia, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. In the next few hours, it will also extend to other nations, including Italy.
