The Redmi G Gaming arrives with a tenth generation Intel processor and a spectacular screen

The Redmi G laptop doesn’t look spectacular in appearance, but at least it has a gamer aesthetic. In addition, it has a 16.1-inch screen with Full HD resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. It uses an LCD panel that covers 100% of the sRGB color space and offers a maximum brightness of 300 nits, as well as a viewing angle of 178 °. As if that were not enough, it has an anti-glare cover.

This screen is the same in the three variants that exist of the Redmi G, which differ by their hardware as follows:

  • Entry-level model: Powered by an Intel Core i5-10200H processor (4.1 GHz max speed) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics.
  • Medium model: has an Intel Core i5-10300H processor (maximum clock speed of 4.5 GHz) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics.
  • Most powerful model: it mounts an Intel Core i7-10750H processor (maximum speed of 5 GHz) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics.

All the processors of these variants of the Redmi G are of the tenth generation and are accompanied by 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage (expandable up to 2 TB). In addition, they weigh exactly the same: about 2.5 kg. In fact, the rest of the characteristics that we are going to mention below are the same for all three models.

These laptops feature a full-size backlit keyboard, dual-fan Hurricane Cooling 2.0 cooling system, two 2W speakers, DTS: X Ultra 3D sound, HD webcam recording, and 55 Whr battery. What operating system do they use? Windows 10 Home. In addition, they support WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Gigabit-type Ethernet, and bring a wide variety of ports, among which two USB 3.0, a USB-C, an HDMI and a headphone jack stand out.
