How To Unlock HTC ONE SV Bootloader

UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER HTC ONE SV

  • This tutorial is only for HTC ONE SV.
  • Please do not use it on any other options smartphone or tablet.
  • Make sure that the drivers for your device are installed on the computer.
  • You need to enable USB debugging mode is enable by default.
  • Your smartphone must have a 70-80% charge.
  • Make a backup copy of important data such as call logs, SMS and other data, it is to if something goes wrong, your data is not affected.

After unlockin bootloader  you can root, install ClockworkMod recovery and custom roms on your mobile. By default, the bootloader of your mobile is locked. Let’s start by checking if the bootloader of your mobile is locked.

  • Turn off your mobile
  • Press the Power + Volume Down at the same time for a few seconds until you see the bootloader menu.
  • If LOCKED appears in a pink rectangle top of the menu is that your bootloader is locked.
  • If UNLOCKED appears in a pink rectangle top of the menu is that your bootloader is unlocked.

Pre Requirements And Unlocking Bootloader :-

Go to this address http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader
Click Register in the horizontal navigation bar. Then fill out the requested information.
click on Register to confirm. Validate your account by clicking the link in the email received in your inbox.

After you have logged into the site with your login, select on All Other Models supported from the mobile field in the list Select your device. Then confirm by clicking on the button Begin Unlock Bootloader.

Confirm the warning by clicking YES. Then check the boxes of the legal and validate by clicking on Proceed to unlock instructions.

Check your mobile configurations in Settings> About phone> Software information> Software number If voting version is superior to those proposed in the list, skip this step by clicking Proceed to step 1. Otherwise, download and install RUU file. Then, click Proceed to step 1.

If your mobile is connected to your computer, unplug it. Turn off your mobile. Press the Power + Volume Down at the same time for a few seconds until you see the bootloader menu.

Wait for the HBOOT loads. Then press the Power to select FASTBOOT. Fastboot The word must be displayed in a red rectangle.

Connect your mobile to your computer via the USB cable.

On the site htcdev.com, proceed to the next screen by clicking on Proceed to Step

Download the file fastboot.zip. Then unzip the folder and copy it to the root of your computer’s C: \

Press Windows + R. A window appears. If it is not written cmd inside. Write it down. Finally, click OK.

In the command window that appears, type the following code:

cd c: \ fastboot

then confirm by pressing Enter

On the site htcdev.com, proceed to the next screen by clicking on Proceed to Step 8.

Then type the following code:

fastboot oem get_identifier_token

then confirm by pressing Enter

Copy the text that is displayed <<<< >>>> Identifier Token Start to <<<<< >>>>> End Identifier Token without the words INFO. Simply select the text block, then make right click on the text block.

Paste the block on the site htcdev.com in the field My Device Identifier Token and confirm by clicking on Submit. This field is at the bottom of the page in step 10.

A message “Token Submitted Successfully” should appear. You will receive an email with a file Unlock_code.bin attached. Download the file and copy it to the Fastboot folder you placed on C: \. Then click on the link Click here to continue the bootloader unlocking process contained in the email.

Return to the command window to enter the following code:

fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

then confirm by pressing Enter

Your mobile must display an open lock image (see below). With the Volume Up button, move the green icon on Yes and then press the Power to confirm.

Wait, your phone will reboot. Then, reconfigure your mobile.

To verify that your bootloader is unlocked, repeat these steps: Turn off your mobile. Press the Power + Volume Down simultaneously for a few seconds. And you should see UNLOCKED on a pink background on top of the bootloader menu.

That is, your bootloader is unlocked. You can install a recovery, customs Roms.
